Mr Rudolf H. Dorah was Assistant Secretary for Regional Economic Cooperation at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Solomon Islands 2005-6. He was responsible for, among other things, facilitation and negotiations of fisheries multilateral and bilateral access agreements and MOUs with Distant Water Fishing Nations. He was also responsible for
fisheries and ocean policy related matters and especially with regard to regional economic trade in the western central Pacific ocean. Prior to this post, Mr. Dorah completed a Masters Degree in Marine Affairs (2002-2003) focusing on Fisheries Multilateral Frameworks for the reconciliation of conflicting Ocean interests, while at the same time tutoring undergraduate courses in ocean resources Management at the University of the South Pacific. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Good Governance, USP (2002). Completed a bachelors degree from the University of the South Pacific in History/Politics and Marine Affairs 1999-2001. In 2007 join Private Sector as General Manager of a Korean Marine Export Company. 2008-2009 Trade Facilitator for R.O.C. Trade Missions. 2010 formed National Political Party "Peoples Federation Party" and currently supporting various National Projects for livelihood and Food Security in Melanesia.
