About / Bio
M. MOHAMED M’madi Ahamada is a maritime geographer. He obtained his master’s degree in economic geography in 2002 and his master degree in 2003 (specialisation, littoral and maritime activities) at
the University Omar Bongo from Libreville Gabun. Since 2006, he has worked with the port of Moroni as Director of Studies, and has acquired private-sector experience in harbour management in Gabon with SATRAM/EGCA. His practical experience has allowed him to identify the real problems within the operations of the port of the Comoros Islands and the lack of a maritime administration capable of making a strategy for the management of the marine and littoral space.
